Mr. Nsidibe Peters

Mr. Nsidibe Peters is a Chartered Banker and has over 20 years of experience in Banking, Marketing, Consulting, Finance, Investigation and Control. He started his working career in United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) specialising in core banking areas like International Banking and Offshore Bank Management; Foreign Treasury Management & Fx Trading; Domestic Operations; Investigations & Control, Corporate accounts management. While in UBA, he managed high network customers such as Virgin Nigeria Airlines, Lufthansa etc. He managed a portfolio of over N5.5Billion under Aviation and Maritime Sector. He participated in the concession arrangement of Old Calabar Sea Port as well as Old Warri Sea Port; Transcorp etc. He also participated in the initial feasibility study, draft and availment of the Tinapa project in Cross River State. He left UBA as Corporate Relationship Manager in the Corporate and Investment Bank Group to become the Executive Director of Finance in a Consulting Firm FINSIDI CONSULTING Ltd in Lagos before he was appointed as the MD/CEO Prospects Microfinance Bank Ltd, Uyo in 2010 where he grew the bank to a viable position. He resigned to join Gufax Microfinance Bank in November, 2014. He was appointed Managing Director in Active Point Microfinance Bank Ltd with the task of rescuing and restructuring that institution which he did successfully. He joined New Dawn Microfinance Bank Ltd in March 2020 and he is currently the Head, Credit Department. He studied Banking and Finance at Olabisi Onabanjo University (Formerly Ogun State University) where he obtained his B.sc Banking and Finance. He also studied Financial Management for his MBA at the Lagos State University. He is a Chartered Banker by profession (ACIB) as well as a Microfinance Certified Practitioner (MCP).
