Prof. Edet bassey Akpakpan
A Professor of Economics at the University of Uyo, Nigeria. He received his B.Sc. Degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan, M.Sc. from the University of Wales, U. K., and Ph.D. from the University of Manchester, England, U. K. His areas of interest are Economic Thought and Methodology, Development Economics, and Public Finance. Professor Akpakpan has published many journal articles and several textbooks, including Economics Beyond Demand and Supply, Crossroads in Nigerian Development, How to Save the Naira and Nigeria, and The Economy: Towards a New Type of Economics. He has taught Economics at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, University of The Gambia, The Gambia, and University of Uyo, Nigeria. In addition to teaching and research, Professor Akpakpan has served as a member of the Ministerial Advisory Committee at the Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja, from October 1995 to June 1998. He also served as the Special Adviser to the Chief of General Staff (CGS) the Presidency, from August 1998 to May 1999 and he was a member of the Budget System Review Committee in the Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja, from December 1999 to March 2000. He has advised several private sector organizations on capacity building and management. He retired from teaching in November 2017 to focus on research and consultancy.

Mr Emmanuel Daniels
He has 27 years of banking, finance and consultancy experience with strong background and competencies in risk management, operations, finance, treasury, internal control, branch management, human resource optimization, international trade, project management as well as strategic planning and execution. Emmanuel Daniels earned his BSc in Accounting (Second Class Upper) from University of Uyo and his MBA in Finance from University of Ado Ekiti in 1992 and 2004 respectively. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). In addition, he has studied professional courses in accounting, taxation and finance with London School of Business & Finance, United Kingdom. Following his undergraduate work, he spent 15 years in banking with Stanbic IBTC Bank (formerly Stanbic Bank); a leading African banking group focused on emerging markets globally, having been a mainstay of South Africa's financial system for 150 years and now spans 16 countries across the African continent. His subsequent experience includes an involvement with Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP) at United Kingdom where he expanded his wealth of experience to engage in consultancy, facility management and financial advisory services. Shortly after his return from HSMP, he established HONIM Professionals, a consulting organisation with focus on developing and strengthening micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). He is an advocate of South-South entrepreneurship and the founding President of Ibom Entrepreneurship Society. He has attended several local and international courses on a wide range of areas covering banking, consultancy, leadership, and management. Also, he is a practitioner of ethical business and has won many professional and academic awards. Lastly his other strategic involvement is preaching the Word undiluted.

An erudite legal practitioner with 22 years legal practice experience. He started his legal career as a legal officer at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Subsequently he practiced at P.C. Mbadiwe Chambers as a Barrister & Solicitor. Then practiced at Martin Olisa & Co as a Solicitor, then later as Managing Solicitor at Emah Bassey & Co and Bassey & Ben Chambers. Dr Pius Akpan is an economist and a financial expert. He is an indigene of Ini Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. He is presently a Lecturer in the Department of Economics, University of Uyo. After his primary and secondary education, he obtained his Bachelor of Science (BSc), Masters of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Economics from the University of Uyo. Additionally, Dr Akpan has attended several trainings and serminars in management, capacity and capability development, curbing youth restiveness through citizenship and leadership training, and enhancing community participation in the oil and gas Sector in Nigeria.
As an academic, his areas of interest include; monetary and financial economics, quantitative analysis, macroeconomics, microeconomics, production economics, economic development, among others. His wealth of experience traverses across various areas of specialization and human endeavour including private and public sector. He has published many articles in local and international journals.
In the private sector, Dr Akpan, has served in various capacities such as; Head of Credit, Gufax Microfinance Bank Ltd, Uyo; Accountant (Credit and Data Analysis), Amaecom Global Ltd, Uyo; and Marketing Executive, Farmay Nig. Ltd., Warri. Furthermore, due to his sterling qualities and the need for effective representation, Dr Akpan, was appointed to serve as a Supervisor for Education, Youth and Sports of his community.
During the pandemic, Dr Akpan served as a Research Assistant, Finance Sub-Committee in the Akwa Ibom State Economic Reconstruction Committee. He also served as a member of the Pandemic Distribution Committee of Ini Local Government Area. He is happily married with four children.
